ABC News story: PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. - A bomb blast in Iraq left Army Sgt. Brian Beck with severe brain injuries and crippling PTSD. Then last summer this wounded warrior suffered another blow. We found Sgt. Beck and his girlfriend, Debra, living in a gutted house with no kitchen and no bathroom.We called in NARI, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry and its President Doug King for help. 30 contractors and suppliers from various trades donated their time, talents and materials to remodel the home. Wallace Carpentry, Inc. was among the companies that came to this families aid. |
